MARIANA.

Berlin-based musician, composer and sound designer, with years of experience creating original music, and sound design for films, documentaries, video games, advertising and animation, as well as composing pieces for orchestra, ensembles and choirs.

Mariana is a composer and sound designer based in Berlin, originally from Colombia. After more than a decade in Germany, she has built a career creating everything from film scores to orchestral pieces, experimental soundscapes, sound design, and music for various ensembles. Her style blends the vibrant influence of her Colombian roots with a modern approach to music, crafting sound experiences that are both dynamic and deeply emotional.

Since 2016, Mariana has been the Senior Sound Designer and Team Lead at Mynd, a top video production company in Germany. Here, she produces high-quality audio for global brands, drawing on a unique mix of technical skill and creative flair to create powerful sound that connects with audiences worldwide.

Mariana studied Composition and Music Production at Javeriana University in Bogotá and furthered her skills in Advanced Film Music Composition at Musicube Academy in Cologne. Her journey—from composing orchestral pieces and electroacoustic works to mastering sound design, studio production, and mixing techniques—reflects her versatility and her drive to push the boundaries of sound. With each project, Mariana explores new creative directions, continuously shaping the future of music and sound design across various media.
